Mingchen Liu is an M.Eng.24 student at School of Computer Science & Technology, HUST. He is in Hopcroft Center on Computing Science (HCCS), HUST, under the direction of Prof. Kun He. He used to major in Software Engineering at School of Software, HUST and minor in Finance at School of Economics, HUST.

His research interests include Knowledge Representation, AI4Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Hierarchically Encapsulated Representation for Protocol Design in Self-Driving Labs

We propose a multi-faceted, multi-scale representation of experimental knowledge using Domain-Specific Languages, coupled with a data-driven algorithm, to enhance protocol design in scientific research by integrating Large Language Models and automating the customization of experimental protocols for specific domains.
